Hey everyone! Today’s post title has a little double meaning…first there is this:
ALL DONE! Three books in 6.5 days…I’ve been a real power reader for the last week! On Sunday night, I was down to the last third of Mockingjay. Yesterday morning, I hit the gym at 5am for a little bike riding and reading!
I pedaled away for an hour…
…but after an hour, I wasn’t quite done yet. Oh so close though…so I reset the bike and kept on pedaling!
I was down to the last 5 pages by the time this round was over! Nearly 700 calories burned and needing a new book to read! It was an accomplished morning.
I also feel accomplished in the kitchen today…and thus the other meaning of today’s post title! Here is the before-and-after:
I went from a nearly-bare fridge to a fridge full of healthy options for the week! Fresh vegetables washed and chopped, salad greens washed, torn and bagged and more veggie soup than I can probably handle!
No, really….
If you’re wondering whether or not there is an entire head of cabbage in this pot of soup…as well as a whole bunch of kale, the answer is a resounding YES!
I also made some delicious slow cooker black beans, some lean ground turkey with onions and garlic, and washed a bunch of fresh berries. I’m working hard this week to make a big turnaround on my super-crappy weigh in this past weekend.
