Happy weekend, everyone! I tried my best to catch up on my Google Reader this week…if you call going from almost 900 unread items to about 700 unread items “catching” up”, haha…at any rate, I have some great links to share with you!
First, you should know how much I love onion rings. They’re salty, crunchy, YUMMY…and when I saw Jessica’s recipe for Healthy Crunchy Onion Rings on How Sweet It Is, I almost squealed and fell out of my chair. And I was at the office. It was a close call.
These look delicious and at are the top of my “must make ASAP” list!

And then I read a couple of really amazing, moving and important posts this week.
The first is from Sheryl, aka “Bitchcakes”—she is right on in her post on body image.
Bitchcakes – Body Image and a Reality Check
Emily wrote about her two year “Fativersary” at Skinny Emmie…this post brought a tear to my eye. She is so inspiring!
Finally, I’d like to share my favorite post from Journey to Marvelous for this week…
I was more than excited to share the news about dropping another pant size this week and I got a ton of really supportive comments and tweets that gave me the warm fuzzies and made my heart swell up. Hooray!
I leave you with one of my favorite YouTube videos…a beautiful piece of music by Korean pianist Yirumi, called “The River Flows Within Me”…
Have a fantastic day!

I’m pretty much obsessed with Jessica’s blog. She has so many amazing looking things on there, you should definitely check it out! Next on my list are the onion rings, the salmon with the blueberry bbq sauce, and the mojito salsa!
I totally need to catch up on my Google Reader too! I have 296 items left!

Thank you Lauren! And you’re doing better than I am…I have about 700 items in my reader pretty consistently! It’s all of those fabulous but prolific food bloggers
Mel, I choreographed a ballet piece to that song in 2009 for a Dance Convention I teach at. Wish I had the video to share with you! I love that music!!!

Really?!? Oh, I wish you had the video! This is one of my favorite pieces of music. Actually all of his compositions are beautiful. Small world.

It’s a bit rough because it’s convention kids dancing to it but… you get the idea!
