Hey, remember these cookies….?
These crispy chocolate chunk cookies that are crispy on the edges, gooey in the center, buttery and delicious and are my current favorite cookie? Yeah, those.
Well allegedly, you can use the very same dough to make fabulous blondies…hold the phone!! These yummy cookies in bar form? Of course I had to give it a whirl.
My friend Katie’s birthday was yesterday, and blondies are her favorite. I got up a little early to whip up a batch of blondies before work so I could take them to her at lunch time.
They turned out great!!!
Now don’t you think you ought to give these a try?!?
Here is the recipe for the cookie-slash-blondie dough:
Crispy Chocolate Chunk Cookies (and oooey-gooey Chocolate Chunk Blondies, apparently)
The only change you’re going to make is to bake the blondies in a 8” x 12” nonstick/greased pan for exactly 30 minutes at 350*F. They’ll seem a little underdone but they’re not…Once cooled they’ll be perfect.
