What a crazy couple of weeks it has been! There is lots going on and it’s kept me away from the blog…but don’t let that make you think that I’ve been slacking off in the weight loss department!
Here are the stats from my weigh in last weekend, which would be Week 41:
Starting weight: 283.0 pounds
Week 40 weight: 229.5 pounds
Today’s weight: 225.5 pounds
Loss this week of: 4.0 pounds
Total weight loss to date: 58.0 pounds
A loss of 4 pounds! You know it!
As I approach the 60 pounds lost mark, more and more people are noticing the changes that I’m making. Last Tuesday, I went in to the office and my boss complimented my outfit and how good I was looking. Later that day, I was at my personal training session with Trainer, and one of the other trainers poked her head in to tell me how trim I was looking. And later in the evening, while having frozen yogurt with Amy, I ran into an old friend that I haven’t seen in a long time. She went on about how fantastic I’m looking and gave me about 5 hugs! It made my night…it’s always awesome to get that kind of acknowledgment. It’s keeping me motivated for the weeks ahead!
Yesterday was my Week 42 weigh in:
Starting weight: 283.0 pounds
Week 41 weight: 229.5 pounds
Today’s weight: 224.0 pounds
Loss this week of: 1.5 pounds
Total weight loss to date: 59.0 pounds
Another 1.5 pounds lost! ALMOST TO SIXTY POUNDS LOST!
My goal this week is to have a better breakfast each morning. On at least two mornings this past week, I skipped breakfast and I paid for it at lunch by not making the best decisions because I was famished. I think if I can stay on track with breakfast this week, I’ll be set up for another loss!
The sixty pound mark is right around the corner, I can feel it!

Thank you sunshine!! I <3 you too.
What are you doing for your workout routine at this point? Also, CONGRATS!
I’m proud you’ve stuck through the ups and downs for all these weeks. It’s a real encouragement.
Thanks Josh! I work out with my trainer twice a week. On Tuesdays we do cardio interval training on a spin bike (Tabata protocol), and on Thursdays we lift weights and do more interval training. For the last few months, these have been my only workouts, but I recently took up yoga 2-3 times a week (which I love so far), and I got a new bike for my birthday so I’m going to be doing a lot of outdoor cycling this summer. Also thinking about a third half marathon…I’ll be the workout queen before you know it!
AWESOME! Great job!
Thank you!!
